What is the difference between multicellular and unicellular organisms?

A unicellular organism is composed of only one cell. A multicellular organism is composed of numerous cells that work together, usually a collection of differentcells with specialised functions - e.g. for humans, neurons, liver cells and muscle fibres have different jobs.
